Accelerated Housing & Transit Development Project

The (AHTD) adds 100,000 fourplex homes to existing single-family lots by adding 3-prefabricated units to each lot over the next seven to ten years. Each redevelopment includes one very-low-income unit along with mixed generational tenancy. (AHTD) is modeled after the successfully implemented Public Private Partnerships (P3) utilized by the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the development of the new City of Long Beach Government Center. (AHTD) utilizes existing Metro transit-oriented development studies to create placemaking destinations in underserved communities. The Bass Administration & Anderson Barker Architects can implement (AHTD), a community modernization program that makes tangible improvements by redeveloping existing open spaces at a scale proficient enough to address our cities needs.
